Medical Technologist – Band 5 £25,411 - £33,150 inclusive of High Cost Allowance
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of a highly motivated, multidisciplinary team in the Adult Sleep Disorders Centre at St. Thomas' Hospital. The applicant will be required to work shifts, including rotation to night duty.
 
You will be required to work as part of a team with some supervisory responsibilities and be able to work autonomously at times. Ideally, you will have a technical, nursing or physiotherapy background and clinical experience with patients is essential.
 
Experience of sleep or respiratory patients, polysomnographic set up and CPAP are desirable. Your duties will include the monitoring of sleep study signal quality and the intitiation and delivery of CPAP and oximetry patient education and support. You will be given training and supervision and there are opportunities for personal and professional development.
